I read this book in one weekend! Really enjoyed the storyline and this take on the \”in between\” when in limbo between life/death. Every decision has a consequence but it may not be the one you think… Overall great story, would recommend!

Didn\’t like this quite as much as book #1 in the series, but the magic/underlying story was still good! I think I just wasn\’t into this turning into a \”why choose\” trope as they are not my favorite.

I thought I would like this story more than I did. I get the lore and the hype, but reading it physically was a lot harder than when I switched to listening to the audiobook. Not sure I\’ll continue reading the series, but will continuing to love the movies that came out of this franchise!

I had zero expectations going into reading this book since I scored it for free on a stuff your Kindle day. However, I was pleasantly surprised! There were many twists & turns in this storyline and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The cliffhanger did make me go immediately purchase the 2nd/final book to see how it continued.

Fredrik Backman never fails to make me laugh out loud. He makes me fall in love with characters that I would probably hate if I met in real life!

Naked in Death was a fun, fast-paced read that mixes a solid murder mystery with a futuristic setting and a touch of romance. Lt. Eve Dallas, as a New York City police officer, is a tough, interesting lead, and her chemistry with Roarke adds a lot of spark to the story. The world-building is cool without being overwhelming, and the plot kept me turning pages. Overall, it’s an engaging start to a series and a great pick if you like crime stories with strong characters and a little edge.

Honestly one of the best books I’ve ever read. It’s my favorite book. He gave me the feels and made me think. I loved it and I loved the characters.

I did enjoy this book. Glad to read a standalone fantasy for once! Nice refresher. The mate/bond was an interesting concept and the magic abilities were neat. Overall solid read.

Loved this book, love this series. Cannot wait for the remaining two books to be released this year!

This was a decent indie author read! I liked the storyline and the overcoming aspect of the female character\’s past.

I love this series! Enemies to lovers AND fake dating tropes all in one book?! YES! I just really enjoy the way this author writes. She makes me invested and there\’s so much comic relief.
