Diavola

This was a major miss for me. Expecting haunted house and got part family drama and part thriller? I don\’t even really know how to describe it but, not what I was expecting. I was disappointed in the ending. I also HATED the family in this book and spent much of the book developing a distain for the main character as well.

The September House

by Carissa Orlando

This was a 3/5 for me. It was a decent book but I found the daughter, one of the 3 main characters, to be insufferable. I think this would have been a better haunted house novel had all the characters been well developed.

This was a 10/10 for me! Definitely listen to it on audio if you can because of the podcast component to the book. This was a great book with a lot of twists. I really enjoyed it and it was one of the best podcast thrillers I read this year!

This book was great! I loved the premise and the twist was unexpected. I loved where the book took place and loved the chapters going between the characters past and their present. This was a fantastic book. I listened to it on audio, I really liked the narrators even though I found the main male characters voice a little bit annoying. This was a 9/10 for me.

This book was amazing! The there were many twists I did not see coming and I was constantly trying to figure out what was next. Despite all the twists, it was easy to follow. I listened to it on audiobook and the narrators were incredible. I really liked the concept of this book and as a person who reads thrillers all the time, this was a narrative I don\’t think I have read before. This was a 10/10 for me!
