The Frozen River: A GMA Book Club Pick
I’m not usually a fan of historic fiction, but I enjoyed this book. I appreciated the the story being told from a woman’s perspective and the way the author conveyed how women were viewed, valued, and used in the time period.
Spoiler alert – the silver fox probably wasn’t really needed.

This should be required reading in high school or college. It’s such a crazy story but then when you sit back and realize how quickly it all could actually happen it’s terrifying! …especially as a woman.
